THE SYSTEM:
BASIK™ Bench is Kewaunee’s flexible, value-based bench system, featuring a rigid ‘C-Frame’ structure. BASIK® can be an ideal choice for all types of lab and technology work environments…. electronics, pharmaceutical, biotech, test/assembly, engineering, industrial, etc. It’s also available for ESD (static control) and cleanroom applications.

BASIK™ FLEXIBILITY:
Choose either desk height (30″) or bench height (36″). The BASIK® optional accessory upright system supports a variety of available accessories above the worksurface. Each accessories is height-adjustable so each workstation can be optimally configured for its user(s).

BASIK™ DURABILITY:
The heavy-duty C frame assures strength and rigidity for benches up to 6′w. Unlike most tech furniture manufacturers, Kewaunee’s powder coat finish on its metal components meets SEFA8 standards for corrosion resistance, making it ideal for virtually any environment, including “wet” chemical labs.

BASIK™ CONFIGURATIONS:
BASIK® can be configured with a variety of components suitable for various applications. Choose from a selection of shelving, power strips, lights, drawers, storage cabinets, bin bars, etc.

• Suspended cabinets: Left or right hinge (14″h) (drawers and cabinets can mix and match, suspend from far left and/or right side of worksurfaces)

• Worksurface options: High density laminate is standard. 150 lb. per linear ft. load capacity. Optional ESD, epoxy resin, maple, Trespa, stainless steel & chemical resistant laminate

• Shelves: (12″d) Height adjustable, with seismic lip. Solid or wire

• Power strips, backsplash or height adjustable, 15A or 20A

• Lighting: overhead task, under shelf fixed, magnifier on articulating arm

• Keyboard trays: multiple styles for under worksurface or on swing arms

• Bin bars: Plastic storage bins, ESD storage bins

• Tool bars: Horizontal trolleys

COLORS:

There are 2 color elements to specify on (non stainless steel) BASIK®:

• The laminate worksurface

• The metal powder coat finish (paint)

Note: ESD laminate is available in Dove Gray & Natural Almond only. Matching paint colors are Dove Gray and Sand Tan.
